Office of Development at CIIT Abbottabad

On June 03, 2011, the sub Office of Development (OD) CIIT Started working at COMSATS institute of information technology, Abbottabad. The prime objective of the office is to build a substantial asset base to ensure the support provided to the talented and deserving students through CIIT Endowment fund scholarship, which cover the student entire fee while being enrolled at CIIT. The office of development aims at developing strong link with its alumni in particular and corporate entities /NGOs in general to generate a steady income stream to hedge against the volatility of available funds in an uncertain economic environment. In this connection, OD is involved in planning and execution of different events like workshops, alumni reunion and seminars. The office of development is committed to make CIIT self sustainable by providing greater financial autonomy.

Achievements 2011-2013

Four Career Development workshops were arranged for fresh graduates like 5 days and 2 days workshop conducted on CV writing and interviewing skills.
A mega event is 1st ever Alumni reunion conducted for old COMSIANS
A session was conducted for new comers with old Alumni of 2001 on orientation day
Approximately 70 Jobs were arranged for Alumni in different multi national Organizations
Approximately 216 Internships were arranged for current students and Alumni in and outside the CIIT
Generating fund by selling of CIITEF tickets. Approx 200,000 amount has been generated.
