Welcome To CIIT Abbottabad

COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Abbottabad Campus is offering 14 undergraduate and 11 graduate programs under eight departments. The student’s strength has increased from 121 to approximately 5560, in 2011, which is a 46 fold increase. A Commendable performance and growth by any standard. Our faculty comprises of 463 highly qualified and dedicated teachers including 80 PhD Professors.

At CIIT Abbottabad a number of four-year Bachelor's programmes are available. These all lead to a Bachelor of Science. These programmes have been devised so as to answer the current market demands for special expertise.

Under graduate engineering degree programs of the CIIT have been accredited by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), the accrediting body for engineering in the country. Relevant information in this regard is available at the website of PEC .

Almost all academic departments of CIIT offer exceptional facilities for conducting research work leading to MS and Ph.D. Since the inception in 1999, the graduate program has come a long way to establish conducive research culture. The CIIT is offering 32 graduate programs at its various campuses with an enrolment of 590 MS and 135 Ph.D. students who are undertaking their degree programs in various disciplines of science, engineering, management science and computer science. CIIT has been ranked at # 07 by HEC on the basis of cumulative impact factor, in over 120 universities of Pakistan.
