Admission requirements and selection
There are general as well as specific admission requirements. The general requirements are the same for all programmes, while the specific requirements may differ between programmes.
General admission Requirements

Undergraduate Programmes:

Intermediate or equivalent from an accredited educational institution
- NTS NAT with atleast 50% marks

MBA/MDS :
- Bachelor Degree (14 years degree) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks, from an accredited institution.
- NTS NAT with atleast 50% marks.

Graduate Programmes:
- A 16 years degree in the relevant field from an accredited educational institution with first division or CGPA of 2.5/4.0 with no Third Division or D Grade throughout the academic career.
- NTS GAT (General) with atleast 50% marks.

Postgraduate / Doctoral Programmes:
- MS/M.Phil or its equivalent degree in the relevant field from an accredited educational institution with First Division or CGPA of 3.0/4.0.
- GRE Requirements: International GRE (Subject) test wherever applicable or GAT (Subject) as per requirement of HEC.

Conditional acceptance
Students in their final year/semester of their education may also apply to CIIT and if qualified, receive a conditional acceptance.
If you have not completed your studies, please include a written statement, giving your expected completion date.
Selection criteria
Admissions at CIIT are done strictly on merit, on the basis of previous academic record of the applicant and his/her performance in the entrance test. This test is conducted by an independent agency called National Testing Service (NTS).
