A six member delegation from UTP, Malaysia comprising the following visited CIIT Abbottabad Campus on Wednesday, October 10, 2012:

• Professor Dr. Noorhana Yahya (Dean, FIST, Fundamental Science and IT)
• Associate Professor Dr. Ahmed Kamil Mahmood (MOR Intelligent Cities)
• Associate Professor Dr. Faiz Ahmed (ME Department)
• Dr. Jafreezal Jaafar (Head, CIS Department Communication and Information System)
• Dr. Rohiza Ahmed, (CIS Department)
• Dr. Suziah Sulaiman (CIS Department)

Purpose of their visit was to discuss the following:

1. Students exchange-Final Year Project & Postgraduate Students
2. Staff Attachments
3. Development of Joint Research Proposals
4. Faculty Exchange

They were given a very warm welcome by the CIIT Abbottabad’s officials and faculty. All issues were discussed and decisions were made accordingly.
