Successful Completion of Faculty Development Workshop 2014

Faculty Development process promotes high performance and continuous improvement resulting in a world class faculty and increased student success. It refers to those activities and programs that are intended to facilitate faculty members’ commitment to and ability to achieve both their own career goals and their institution’s goals.

In pursuance to instructions of the worthy Director, one week Faculty Development Workshop (FDW-14) was organized and conducted by Campus Faculty Development Forum (CFDF) from February 24, 2014 to February 28, 2014. The following topics were covered in addition to practice of micro-teaching. Forty (40) new faculty members from Environmental Sciences, Pharmacy, Management Sciences, Earth Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Humanities and Mathematics department participated in the workshop and received certificates on successful completion.

Four days workshop went very well. Closing ceremony of the workshop was held on 28 February 2014. Worthy Director graced the ceremony as Chief Guest. He commended the efforts of Mr. Aftab Hussain, Incharge QEC forsuccessfully organizing the workshop. Certificates were awarded to the participants by the Worthy Director.
