Dr. Yasir Bin Tariq (Assistant Professor, Management Sciences) successfully organized and conducted a one-day research training workshop titled “Finding, Managing and Citing Literature” for MS research Students.  It was a full day workshop consisting of three sessions. The aim of this workshop was to equip research students with better understanding of research, the importance of finding relevant literature & reviewing it.  Moreover, participants were given demonstration on how to manage and cite literature using a reference manager i.e. Mendeley Desktop. The training feedback suggested that participants found the workshop very useful in improving the quality of their research.  Professor Dr. SAF Hasnu distributed the training certificates among workshop participants in the closing ceremony.

The 2nd workshop in the series of research training workshops was held on April 13, 2016. It was a full day workshop consisted of three sessions and with focus on hands-on training. The objective of the workshop was to equip MS students with better understanding of research, the importance of finding relevant literature & reviewing it.  Moreover, participants were given demonstration on how to manage and cite literature using Mendeley Desktop, a document and reference manager. The training was delivered by Dr. Yasir Bin Tariq, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Sciences.  Training feedback suggested that participants found the workshop very useful in improving the quality of their research.  Dr. Shehla Amjad (HoD Management sciences) distributed the training certificates among workshop participants in the closing ceremony.
