Housing/ Hostel Facilities
COMSATS Institute of Information Technology Abbottabad is providing boarding facility to its students. In this regard there are Three Blocks to accommodate approximately 750 male students and one blocks for more than 100 female students. The Rooms are spacious and lawns in front of every block provide an optimum environment to students for pursuing their quest for knowledge. Female Boarding blocks are surrounded with barbed wire for security and are provided an independent and free environment. A Lady Warden stays 24 hours in the hostel for supervision.
Boarders have their own mess, which is run by themselves. They prepare the Menu and control the Quality of Food. There is a committee of students which decides all the matters relevant to the Mess. Students have to seek permission to go outside the Institute premises and female students require the approval of the warden and the Provost to go outside the Main Gate.
